Modscape Launches Sagebud.com
We are proud to announce the very beta launch of Sagebud.com, the social network for gardeners. Sagebud.com is a place for gardeners to get together, make friends, share gardening advice and tips, start a group and discuss gardening and plants. We’ll also feature the expert advice of 2 “sage” gardeners, our moms.
The site features a listing of over 75,000 plants, many with photos. Users can comment on an individual plant and subscribe to each plant’s comment RSS feed. Plants can be looked up by genus and by state or just browsed by related plants.
The site runs on WordpressMU and Buddypress. We’ll be adding lots of great new features and we hope you’ll stop by and sign up if you haven’t already.

We recently saw a nice spike in traffic to modpoll.com thanks to a link posted in a Danish Facebook group. A member of the group created a poll on modpoll.com and then linked back to the hosted version of the poll. Polls can either be embedded or you can link to hosted version on modpoll.com. In only a few days we saw almost 2000 votes and as many unique visitors to modpoll.com. The poll is posted here as well.
